Where were these schools located? Do you know what happened to the school buildings? Which one(s) did you attend? What were the names of your teachers? What grades did they teach? What memory do you have of your school days that you would like to share? Something funny? Interesting? Heartwarming? What were some of the church's names in Osborn Township? Do you know what happened to those? Do you knolw who has he records for those that no longer exist? How did your family celebrate Christmas? What did people give/make for Christmas? What foods were traditional? What Christmas do you remember as being special? New Year's? Easter? Fourth of July? Labor Day? Halloween? Thanksgiving? In what ways was it different than it is today? How were weddings different then than today? What about chivarees? Were you chivareed? Did you help chivaree someone else? Tell us about it. How did farmers work together then? Filling silo? At harvest time? And did the wives also get together to cook the meals for the men? Who worked on the old-time threshing crews? What instances do you remember that farmers helped another out when illness came, or death? Do you have any photographs or memories of these special times? What sayings do you remember your parents using? Or growing up using? Something that isn't common today? What were some of the early home remedies you had and that our mother and father used for colds and flu? Or for the stomachache? Other remedies? What did you do on holidays as a child? What were the fads of the time? What did people do on dates? Where did they go? Did people take the train into Wellington, before car travel was so easy? Who were the depot agents? Was the station open 24 hours a day? How many stops a day did hte train make? Does anyone know what the train schedules were, or have any memorabilia from the station? Tell us about the movies that used to be shown on Main Street? What movies were shown? How often? What do you remember most about them? How has Mayfield changed since you were young? Tell us about the literary meetings? What were the programs like? Who performed in the programs? Were there plays? Did other towns come to the programs? Did you have any special part in these programs? What changes have you seen in your lifetime that have been significant? What clubs/organizations used to exist in Mayfield that no longer do? What clubs were you or your family involved with? What clubs are in Mayfield now? EHU, Supper Club 4-H club, Crochet Club? Were there any men's clubs? Was there a Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts?
