Saturday   October 1, 2011	"North" McDonald's, 3008 N. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS	7:00 A.M. for breakfast - then depart at 7:30 am	Southeast Kansas Nature Center - 2.5 mi. S. of Galena, KS	Late fall migrants and early winter residents. Walk trails or stay in Nature Center.
Saturday October 29, 2011	Meet at Applebee's 2802 N. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS	7:00 A.M.	Jim & Sherri Hughes farm Cherokee, KS  West on Hwy. 126	Tour the Wetland restoration and Native grass project.
Saturday November 12, 2011	Meet at Applebee's 2802 N. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS	6:30 A.M.	Carpool to Melvern Lake, Lyon Co. Lake and John Redmond Lake	2-hour drive, bring food & drinks - all day event.  May be coordinated with Burroughs Audubon of Kansas City.

Saturday February 25, 2012	Meet at Applebee's 2802 N. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS	7:30 A.M.	Visit Ponds and Pits of Crawford County, KS	Mostly driving tour to find migrating water birds, raptors, and winter residents.
Saturday March 31, 2012	Meet at Big Brutus historical site near West Mineral, Kansas	8:00 A.M.	Heron Rookery by  West Mineral, KS.	Visit Heron Rookery and shore bird habitat.
Saturday April 28, 2012	Meet at Applebee's 2802 N. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS	7:00 A.M.	Roaring River State Park, MO Warblers & spring migrants	2-hour drive, bring food & drinks - all day event.  A great place for birding.
Saturday May 19, 2012	Meet at Applebee's 2802 N. Broadway, Pittsburg, KS	7:00 A.M.	Restored 40 acre Prairie Habitat.  Max Good property, Parsons, KS	Max Good gave a presentation at our May 2011 SGAS picnic.  Mostly a walking tour.
